Please do not leave your equipment in the extreme cold for long periods of time. This could crack the ball or effect the performance of the ball. Also now that the temperatures are extremely cold and there is not much humidity in the air and if you are having trouble getting a good grip on the ball here are a few tips.
1. Try using a grip ball or rosin
2. Put a piece of white tape in the front of the thumb for more grip.
3. Try using the new fitting tape on your thumb for more grip
4. Blow warm air into the thumb hole for a better grip.

Also when your body is real cold do some stretching and blow on your bowling hand before you throw your first shot. Don't throw your first shot at normal speed. Take your time for the first few shots before you go at full speed. You certainly don't want to hurt yourself because you are not warmed up.
